The Rich Dad Television Show

Robert Kiyosaki and his wife, Kim, have launched a TV show about financial education where you can get some knowledge about the “Rich Dad” philosophy.

The show is broadcasted on Sunday at 7PM (AZTV - Arizona).

This video is a compilation of several moments in the show. I know, Kiyosaki is a very controversial person and a lot of people criticize him, but I think you can see an episode. Maybe you can get another point of view or reinforce the one that you have.

8 Simple Tips for Adsense

The perseverance could be the most important advice to succeed with Google Adsense. Actually, it is the most essential advice to succeed in any thing that you do. However, if we are persevering but don’t work well, we could be having an important loss: we don’t lose the won money, but we lose the opportunity to make some extra money without keeping in mind certain things. Next, there are some global tips for Google Adsense. By focusing in those tips we have the way to rise up the value of the Adsense’s check vertiginously, provided that we don’t forget that the base for all things is the perseverance. And if your website is more young than one year old or it has very little content yet, you must be more perseverant than if you had several years by working with this, and have a complete library of contents in the website:

1. Have a nice website: It is important to have good design, original and well written contents, easy navigation, and relevant topics. This way, we can capture the glance of people. More recommendations are: validated HTML, linked pages in a convenient way, no broken links, some links going to some good resources and useful external pages, community sense and service are the bases of a nice website. It is possible that you have to make money as an objective, but you must offer a good service, either you have a useful tool or you generate a quality content that the people want to see. The Internet is full of useless pages that can have any success momentary for any reason, but at the end of the day, they will become lost by their lack of utility.

2. Make an effort to reach the top rankings in the search engines: SEO (Search Engine Optimization) is clue for this. Not everybody can be a professional SEO guy for the webpages but there are many things that are not difficult and we can try those by making an effort. There are some websites about SEO where you can learn a lot:

* Matt Cutts: Gadgets, Google, and SEO: Matt Cutts is Google’s employee and sometimes he gives us advice in order to be relevant in search engines.

* Aaron Wall’s SEO Book.com: Aaron Wall is a known SEO guy and almost every day he writes us something about this stuff. Aaron has an E-book that if you can buy, it is a great investment to learn SEO.

* Search Engine Optimization, Google Optimization - SEO Chat: SEO Chat shows us several resources to use in our SEO labor. Also, it updates us with articles, news, forums and advice in a daily basis.

* Search Marketing Tools and Blog - SEOlogs.com: This site has some interesting tools (”Tools” section). Besides that, it publishes many interesting things.

* Read SEOmoz, Rank Better Internet Marketing & SEO: Rand Fishkin collaborate with this site. He is another known SEO guy. In this site, we can find the tool “Page Strength” to measure the strength of a website, related to SEO. Also, it has a guide in order to obtain links from external sites for our pages (that is a main topic for optimization) . It only costs $ 29. In the same way, the site has a blog with very useful articles and a community of users in order to interchange ideas and debates.

3. You must be concentrated in some high paying keywords: Use the Google’s Keyword Tool to verify how much competition have the keywords that you are optimizing (you must see the advertiser competition, not only the search volume). This has a simple reason: if the keyword has a major level of competition in Adwords (program for the advertisers that pay the Adsense’s ads), it is most possible that the payment for clicking be higher. On the contrary, if your keywords have a low competition level, it is good to try changing them. It is not necessary to use keywords that are totally different but probably, you can use some approximate variations. The Google’s tool shows you a related keyword list and the advertiser competition for each one of them.

4. Use the keywords in the titles and URLs of your posts and pages: Most of the tools for blogging, like Blogger or WordPress, create a page or permalink every time that we make a new post, besides putting it in the homepage. That new page will be in an URL by using almost the same words of the title that you put to the post by replacing the white spaces with hyphen and taking out special characters. Therefore, if you use the keywords in the title, they will be used in the URLs, too. And having the keywords in both parts produce a more relevant page for the topic, and Adsense will show the related ads. If those keywords have a high advertiser competition as was explained before, your Adsense’s incomes will rise. If your website is not a blog, make the same thing for titles and URLs in your inner pages.

5. Conserve a defined topic: Your blog or site must be related to a defined topic. You should not try to have a website or blog about your private life and, at the same time, a catalog of many products to sell by a shopping cart program because it confuses to the audience and to the Adsense’s program, too. Then, you will have some ads not related to the content of your site or even ads about some public services (ads about Red Cross or charity) and, although they have a noble objective, the paid value for each click is $0 in those cases.

6. Use CSS in order to position some prominent text: If you have some pages made with forms or images and very little text only, because the main objective is to have a service by using these resources and not show articles or news, you can add a generic text in the footer or lateral rails of every page. In this way, you will make sure that even those pages will show Adsense’s ads related to the topic of your whole website. One thing to keep in mind when you are making this, is that you must put the text in a position so that be one of the first things that the Adsense’s program can read in the page. This can be bad if we don’t want that displayed in the top of the pages, but by using CSS techniques (Cascade Style Sheet) you can display the text in the part that you want, although in the source code it is the first thing that the Adsense’s program will read. For that, you must use absolute or relative positioning. To learn more, there is a practical tutorial here (if you understand about code): CSS Tutorial.

7. The Adsense’s ads should match with the appearance of your site: Maybe you want to capture the attention of the users so they can click in your Adsense’s ads. But, paradoxically, if you put the appearance of the ads very different to the original page, the users could understand that those are simple advertisements and won’t see the ads because they want to concentrate in the “real” content. Or perhaps, the contrary thing will happen: the ads capture a lot of attention and your content is ignored (I think this is less possible). If you put the ads with the look and feel of the site by using the typical colors in your pages, these ads will seem sections of your website and not only strange elements that are simple advertisements in an obvious way. Remember, some people are bothered when somebody or something tries to sell things to them when they don’t need to buy anything, but if we show the ads like “sections”, those could be more attractive because they are not seen like a attempt for selling.

8 Simple Tips for Adsense
8. Put the ads in the hot positions: according to a study, the red areas in the graph have major attention from human eyes in a computer screen. Google advises to put the ads in those areas, too. The less interesting area to put the Adsense’s ads is the right rail.

Keep in touch. Very soon, we will expand each point of this article about increasing the Adsense’s income.

MyWorldPlus and ProwealthSolutions: Scams?

MyWorldPlus and ProwealthSolutions: Scams? For those who are looking for interesting network marketing systems frequently; it is very important to investigate the different options that are showed by Internet nowadays.

There are two true things: the Network Marketing is a great way for getting very good financial results if we are willing to grow the net under us, and be very perseverant knowing that, as some people say: there is not free lunch (however, you can get many cheaper and very juicy lunches. :-) ). Yeah, the Network marketing needs much effort and dedication from you like every single job, but the main difference is that if in a regular job you get lineal income rise (salary) and sometimes you must wait several years, in a good Network Marketing system you can get frequent rises in your financial profits with a spectacular exponential velocity.

The another true is: the Internet is full of network marketing systems that actually are scams and a string of lies. They are systems created by people who are probably very proficient for writing or recording persuasive podcast files, but in fact, they have a system with a minimal percent of profits being distributed through the members and the big part goes to the pockets of the network owner. Of course, we are presuming that the members have any profit.

Having said that, I share you an experience with the systems built by Mr Ben Glinsky. One of them is ProwealthSolutions (http://www.prowealthsolutions.com) that currently is declining (according to Alexa, in the last 3 months it has lossed 80% of its traffic and the other one is MyWorldPlus ( http://www.MyWorldPLUS.com ) that seems stable so far in its short lifetime.

I have to say you that at the beginning ProwealthSolutions seemed like a very interesting thing for me, because it combined the Network Marketing philosophy with a complement of several passive income sources that are pillars for creating wealth according to some people (I agree). Being attracted by this combination, I signed up for a free tour in this system and I began to receive many emails immediately, where I could know how many people were signed up under my level and that meant they were my “child” members. If I didn’t pay my membership (a little expensive by the way) I was not taking advantage of the opportunity for winning up to $ 1,092 per month without to sell any product or service, because the net was designed for maximizing my opportunities to make money even if I was not working hard at all.

I found this point intrepid because “there is not free lunch”. Then, I paid the membership convinced about I would have to do any work for trying to sell the services by my website, in order to make money.

I just paid and, magically, the emails did not arrive anymore. I thought from that moment, they would send me the messages only if a member under me really was a paid member. At the beginning that bothered me, but I tried to understand because the initial emails were an advertisement type that although can be considered as deceiving ads, that is used in the same way for many companies, in order to increase its sales as much as possible.

Learning to handle the system, I had many doubts because the information were not enough clear and on the other hand, honestly, I found certain services being sold by the system like mortgage courses and others very basic and faulty.

Willing to resolve the doubts, I wrote a message to an email support. Nothing happened. Three weeks later I didn’t get any reply. It is good to say that in the webpage of the system doesn’t exist any corporate information, any “About Us” section, any phone number, so you can’t to call them and any contact name. In the same way, the payments would be made by a company that produced VISA cards in a global level. A company without a lot of history that seems like a recently created one, that is not a bad thing necessarily, but this increased my doubts.

I was really upset and I prepared a deep investigation about who was the responsible for this company and I found to Mr. Ben Glinsky who has certain reputation for building “automatic” network marketing systems, although in some forums of Internet his reputation is not so good.

Using my investigator gifts by Google I could get the Mr Glinsky’s Yahoo ID (benglinsky) and added it in my messenger in order to ask him some things directly. Next, you can see the conversation that we chatted that night:

Omar Mariño (17/12/2006 19:05:37): Hello, are you Ben?

benglinsky (17/12/2006 19:05:44): yeah

Omar Mariño (17/12/2006 19:06:13): I am member of prowealthsolutions.com

Omar Mariño (17/12/2006 19:07:35): I am enthusiast about prowealthsolutions, I made a website and a blog in order to promote that

benglinsky (17/12/2006 19:08:11): looks good

Omar Mariño (17/12/2006 19:08:26): I have a month as member, but I am a little cautious, because I only have $8 so far

Omar Mariño (17/12/2006 19:08:46): I have read a lot of forums saying pws is a scam

Omar Mariño (17/12/2006 19:08:53): I don’t know

benglinsky (17/12/2006 19:09:22): ok?

Omar Mariño (17/12/2006 19:10:08): I guess I will have money if I register more people, but I think you don’t promote that thing by saying: “win up to $1,092 without recruiting”

benglinsky (17/12/2006 19:10:21): UP TO

benglinsky (17/12/2006 19:10:37): it does NOT say “you will make $1092 without doing anything”

benglinsky (17/12/2006 19:10:38): does it?

Omar Mariño (17/12/2006 19:11:33): Yes, but you should know if people see this ads , they really think in easy money

Omar Mariño (17/12/2006 19:11:46): and easy money is a metaphor

Omar Mariño (17/12/2006 19:12:15): Then, in a couple months people will cancel the membership

benglinsky (17/12/2006 19:12:18): they are dumb if they think that

Omar Mariño (17/12/2006 19:14:23): I am a SEO engineer, and soon I will have a website ranked in search engines, I will continue in PWS, I hope this thing works

benglinsky (17/12/2006 19:15:02): we have paid out over $2.6M in commissions in 4 months

benglinsky (17/12/2006 19:15:03): it works

Omar Mariño (17/12/2006 19:16:36): Well, why do you have another site : pro-builder.com , why two sites looking the same?

benglinsky (17/12/2006 19:16:58): have you seen probuilder?

Omar Mariño (17/12/2006 19:17:13): Only the homepage, but it’s similar, except by colors

benglinsky (17/12/2006 19:17:21): not similar at all

Omar Mariño (17/12/2006 19:18:04): Why don’t you have an “about us” section? I think it would be good for people in order to have trust

Omar Mariño (17/12/2006 19:18:21): No phone number either

benglinsky (17/12/2006 19:18:26): 42,000+ members in 4 months

benglinsky (17/12/2006 19:18:32): obviously we know what we’re doing

Omar Mariño (17/12/2006 19:18:47): Yes. but you don’t answer my question

Omar Mariño (17/12/2006 19:18:56): It’s a very easy question

benglinsky (17/12/2006 19:19:11): you didn’t read my response

Omar Mariño (17/12/2006 19:19:19): Why don’t you have an “about us” section?

benglinsky (17/12/2006 19:19:26): read my response again

Omar Mariño (17/12/2006 19:19:29): You must answer “because… “

benglinsky (17/12/2006 19:19:37): the answer is, we obviously don’t need it

benglinsky (17/12/2006 19:19:51): when we are the fastest growing company in the industry, why change something?

Omar Mariño (17/12/2006 19:20:12): Because some people are saying you are a scam

benglinsky (17/12/2006 19:20:22): do you think I care what some people think?

Omar Mariño (17/12/2006 19:21:13): Well, if some people post this thing in every forum in Internet your reputation could be protected if you put any information about your company in order to build trust

benglinsky (17/12/2006 19:21:27): how would it be protected?

Omar Mariño (17/12/2006 19:21:37): Don’t upset with me. It is only my point of view

benglinsky (17/12/2006 19:21:40): Do you think if we had an about us page that people wouldn’t post that stuff?

Omar Mariño (17/12/2006 19:21:42): Remember, I am a member

benglinsky (17/12/2006 19:21:43): no, that’s stupid

Omar Mariño (17/12/2006 19:22:08): Well, I guess you think you are right always

Omar Mariño (17/12/2006 19:22:15): The stupid thing is the arrogance

benglinsky (17/12/2006 19:22:54): exactly

Omar Mariño (17/12/2006 19:23:03): Why you are so arrogant?

benglinsky (17/12/2006 19:23:08): me?

Omar Mariño (17/12/2006 19:23:10): Yes

benglinsky (17/12/2006 19:23:12): lol

benglinsky (17/12/2006 19:23:44): so you would rather believe the stupid broke idiots that post that crap on message boards than the guy who has paid out over 2 million dollars?

benglinsky (17/12/2006 19:24:07): that is stupid

benglinsky (17/12/2006 19:24:13): and I don’t like stupid people

benglinsky (17/12/2006 19:24:21): if that makes me arrogant, fine

Omar Mariño (17/12/2006 19:26:11): Well, I think you don’t understand me. I hope this thing works, but only I am saying your website looks like a scam for any people. For example, why don’t you put a phone-number? It is a easy thing. The most growing company in the industry and they don’t have a phone or something similar.

Omar Mariño (17/12/2006 19:26:22): in the past I sent an email and you never reply me

Omar Mariño (17/12/2006 19:26:27): It sounds bad

benglinsky (17/12/2006 19:26:34): then quit

benglinsky (17/12/2006 19:26:45): I’m not going to change something that works because you are worried it is a scam

Omar Mariño (17/12/2006 19:26:59): Ok, I quit. Good bye.

benglinsky (17/12/2006 19:27:09): ok. Bye

Immediately I canceled the account.

I don’t know if the Glinsky’s systems are scams or not, but this person acts in an arrogant way and it is clear for me that this guy can not control to himself at least, then I doubt he can control an honest company. I don’t believe a single word from this guy.
