Online video company shares its profits with usersMetacafe, a website that pays thousands of British pounds to people who upload popular videos by sharing advertising revenue, want to expand its presence in UK in 2008.

Unlike its rival that is owned by eBay, Metacafe filters the site content meticulously to avoid pirated or bad quality material being shown.

The website has about 30 million users every month in the world and two millions in UK, but the company want to have more local content owners and, at the same time, it allows to make money through its website.

So far, Metacafe is the only video company that shares its advertising revenue with the people who upload videos onto its website, although YouTube is considering doing the same thing.
