WidgetBucks: Ads Suck, ours don’t
Some few months ago, Mpire Corporation launched another option to monetize websites: WidgetBucks. WidgetBucks features pay-per-click shopping widgets that help the bloggers and website owners make money fast. A widget is a small interactive program that show information related to a specific topic or category. You earn money each time someone clicks on a WidgetBucks ad widget on your site, also called pay-per-click, or PPC. You can also earn money by referring people to WidgetBucks.
This could be a complement or, actually, an alternative to Google Adsense. Mpire claims that these widgets see $3-$6 CPM (cost per thousand impressions) which is very good and maybe better than the average ad networks that deliver less than $2 CPM.
The widgets are really attractive and if the widgets inventory contains specific ads that match your content, your website could look enough nice with these new ads. If you want to test these new ads network, please keep in mind that if you use Google Adsense already, you must use the widgets ads in a non-contextual mode (i.e. by category) in order to be OK with the Adsense TOS.

Just discovered a complete list of all marked down products at Amazon, sorted by category
and % off, ranging from 50% off to 90% off (thanks Sonja for the effort).
Actually I never thought Amazon would have articles with 90% off, but only in the category
Electronics there are more than 3000 of them - look for yourself, the list is on

or on http://digg.com/gadgets/Actually_I_never_thought_Amazon_would_have_articles_with_90
(which is a blog of a woman who specializes in finding good deals at Amazon, like Britain’s “Jeanie”).
